Stanislavsky Summer School • July 7 - August 17, 2008

Moscow Art Theatre School teachers bring to America the best rich Russian theatre tradition has to offer – the spirit and knowledge that are essential for the art of acting.

This six-week intensive training program is designed to introduce students to the basics of the famous Stanislavsky System the way it is taught in Russia today.

The school curriculum includes daily Acting Classes (Stanislavsky and Michael Chekhov), scene study (Chekhov, Gogol, Ostrovsky and contemporary Russian drama), Movement training, and Russian Theatre History.

Classes meet six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and the school is located at the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge.  See program description, for more details about the curriculim.
